Like a large Acer LCD I have, this one's display is a little bright by default. After some menu tweaking it's perfect for me though. Stand is stable although there is no height adjustment. Audio is ok.

I am a student living in a small apartment with a lower budget to spend on my "occasional bursts" of gaming. Therefore a large screen LCD HDTV was out of the question. I was aspiring to build a desktop for my work purpose, which involves quite a bit of protein modeling and computational analysis - a great incentive to buy a large LCD monitor. Therefore I needed a monitor which will be working mostly with my desktop but during my "entertainment time" would play well with gaming consoles and provide me with cheap but quality HD display entertainment. I searched all around the internet for a cheap LCD monitor which supports full HD and works with PS3 but there was none which was "confirmed" to work flawlessly with a PS3. I went ahead and bought this Asus monitor based on its glowing reviews in conjunction with its low price. This is a great, great buy. With Zero Dead pixels, excellent contrast and black levels, preset quality modes, great crisp color, this was the perfect display for my small room. The large display real estate is great whether I am working or whether I am gaming or watching movies. And did I say that it works PERFECTLY with my PS3 120 GB Slim. Watching "Casino Royale" and "The Dark Knight" on BD in PS3 was a treat to the eyes as was playing "Uncharted 2" and "Killzone 2". The one-press HDMI/VGA/DVI switch allows me to keep both my running PC and PS3 simultaneously connected to the display and switch on the fly between my work and entertainment. I am very satisfied with this display from Asus !!! If you are looking for a LCD monitor for your PS3, look no further and buy this product straight up -- you will not be disappointed with this.

Very good monitor, different color depth compared to my Acer G24. But, just a personal color preference. This monitor is still functioning on gaming and HD movies.

I shopped around, compared untold monitors side by side. Listed the features and kept going to and from other models. I had initially planned on ordering this from Newegg but their policy is that it has to have more than 8 stuck pixels before it's considered defective. I pay for new and that's what i expect. So no surprise that when my Beautiful 24" Asus monitor was dropped off and absolutely no problems.
You can find a little issue with everything if you look hard enough. This monitor might get complaints from people. However i do gaming, spreadsheets, and of course web browsing. I run a custom 100% hand picked component computer tower. You only get out what you put in. If you have a OEM system, don't expect the images to jump out at you. The price was right, the quality is great, and the Premium Amazon 2 day shipping for $3.99 was a definite plus!!!!
If you are aprehensive about the quality, find someone or a store that carries it and see yourself. However order from Amazon, it's cheaper and customer support and warranty is hassle free!
I went from a Samsung SyncMaster 920WM 19" flat panel lcd to this. I have no regrets what so ever, neither should you when it arrives at your door!
