This is a very good monitor, images are very sharp, bright, color is tremendous. I play online games, I don't have any refresh rate issues either. My only issue is that it did not come with an HDMI cable, I know that the profile did not say that it came with one but it was in my expectation; i did get a VGA and DVI cable with the monitor, so why not a HDMI also?
Anyway I'm sure I will be satisfied with this monitor for years to come, just a little disappointed. Peace out. :)

I've bought an LCD monitor every year or so, and it's been interesting to see how they've developed. The last one we got was quite disappointing - 28", but not at all crisp and hard on the eyes. This is the best one so far. Sure, it's really big, but it's not so big that it doesn't work well next to a MacBook Pro 15" in two monitor configuration. It's definitely my favorite monitor so far.
The only downside is that it takes a little longer than other monitors to start up.
