I bought this Sony DVD player to replace a Toshiba that was beginning to skip and freeze on me. I have this in a basement workshop and the environment is damp and dusty. This Sony plays every disk I put in it without a skip. I liked it so much I bought a second one to use in my outdoor, unheated barn/workshop and it also plays every DVD I put in it. For the price it is a great value. Keep the remote handy since there are only four controls on the player. Very small footprint, it will fit just about anywhere. Very satisfied!

A friend who is a computer tech referred me to this dvd player when I asked him about one I was thinking of buying for $80. He said I was crazy and told me to get this. I know SONY is a great brand and I trust his judgement. It was very easy to hook up and it works great!

Straight to the point. No Frills. My only complaint is, glancing at the picture I assumed it was as wide as typical electronic equipment. Not so, looks kinda silly in my entertainment stand. Will probably put it in the kids room.

Item is about the size of a small laptop. It is very sleek and required few wires to connect. The only detractor is the remote does not have an eject button to open the unit remotely. Other than that, I like the item.
