Identical to the Battery that came with the Lumix DMC-ZS7 camera August 31, 2010

I PURCHASED THIS BATTERY FROM AMAZON.COM (Prime member shipping).
I read a number of reviews from people complaining that the battery was not the correct type, and that it would not function in the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS7 camera (that is the camera that I am using). The battery that I purchased is identical in every way to the battery that came with my camera from Panasonic, and it functions perfectly. The markings are identical, and I cannot even tell the two batteries apart.
The only reason that I gave the battery 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that I believe that Panasonic should be using batteries with higher mamp/hour ratings, as 895 mah is somewhat low for this type of camera.
For the Lumix DMC-ZS7 camera, I highly recommend that you have at least on spare battery.

I bought the Lumix ZS-1 and a replacement battery for a trip to Disneyland. Both batteries had almost a full day's worth of power to them, so I only had to recharge one per night. I highly recommend one of these for multi-day trips.

Don't be fooled by some of the other reviews from other businesses claiming to have the original oem replacement battery. Good As New Electronics has the original oem that is required to be recognized and used by the Panasonic lumix dmc-s7 cameras. Thanks Good As New Electronics, I appreciate the great battery.
