I see no reason to buy extra batteries from Canon. Lemar's have worked well in my three Canon cameras and their price is a lot better.

I purchased this as a reserve (a 2nd) battery, and it does the job well. Doesn't seem to have the capacity of the Canon battery, but the price was very reasonable. I'm satisfied with this battery.

purchased this as a back-up, second battery for my new Canon camera...very affordable and works great.

The price is half less than the original canon nb-6l but you also get half the performance. This will only last a day on heavy use, while the original lasts 3 days or less. Overall, it's a fair spare battery if you're on the budget side.

For the price you can't go wrong. Just don't expect it to hold up to heavy use like the Canon battery because it can't. Still it can get you out of a jam if you still have pictures to take at the end of the day. Don't think I would buy another though. Back to Canon for another battery. You get what you pay for.
